Liz Hollers, Organist/Choir Director
Liz Hollers was born and raised in upstate NY. She received degrees in Arizona and Montana, and now calls Anchorage home. She has performed as a singer/songwriter and classical pianist across the U.S., and taught lessons and classes at the University of Montana. In addition to teaching private music lessons, Liz has also enjoyed working as a dance accompanist for ballet classes. She plays piano, cello and a bit of fiddle. Liz loves learning new music, and also enjoys writing new music and liturgy for church, some of which can still be heard at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Missoula, MT, where she was formerly Director of Worship and Music.
Liz has two stepchildren who live in Georgia, aged 14 and 11, and two little ones at home, aged 2 and 4 years. When she is not chasing around her two littles, she enjoys spending time hiking around Alaska and sampling her husband’s culinary creations.
Amanda Voshell, Administrative Manager
Amanda Voshell moved to Alaska in March of 2011. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Amanda started out in the Hospitality & Tourism Management industry. After twelve years in food and beverage Amanda joined the US Navy. In 2008 Amanda completed her enlistment in Washington state and moved back to River Falls, Wisconsin to finish her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. In Alaska, Amanda has worked as a waitress at Ginger Restaurant; in Technical Publications at PenAir; as the Publications & Fundraising Director at Alaska Miners Association; and as a social studies teacher at NineStar. In 2013, Amanda married the love of her life and they have been blessed with two beautiful children. Amanda and her family love spending time together enjoying the beautiful Alaska landscapes and in the company of friends and family.
